Steam Wishlist Now Open
The Urban Protocol Steam page is now live. You can find it here: store.steampowered.com/app/4810660/Urban_Protocol.
The Strategic Simulation Program page on this site gives a fuller overview of what we’re building if you want context before wishlisting.
Why wishlists matter
Steam’s recommendation systems weigh wishlists heavily. When the game launches, the number of people who’ve wishlisted it directly influences how prominently Steam surfaces it to other players — on the front page, in genre lists, in the “recommended for you” sections. For an independent project like this one, that visibility is the difference between launching to an audience and launching into silence.
If you’ve enjoyed the world we’ve been building here, the most useful thing you can do for the project right now is to wishlist the game. It’s free, it takes ten seconds, and it materially helps us reach launch.
What’s on the Steam page today
The page is intentionally minimal at this stage — a short pitch, a few representative images, and the wishlist button. Trailers, screenshots, and gameplay footage will follow as the build matures. Updates to the Steam page will be announced through this Dev Log stream.
What’s next on the site
The Archive Terminal remains the next major feature here. The site will continue to be the primary worldbuilding archive — districts, characters, doctrine, and historical record — while the Steam page handles the commercial side.
